Volunteer Opportunities

Would YOU donate 25-50 hours of your time over the next year if you knew it would make a major contribution toward the success of Gifts of Hope, an activity that raises $150,000 to $200,000 each year for worthy DC-area social ministries and foreign Lutheran synods?

Gifts of Hope is in its 18th season, and this represents 18 years of enthusiastic volunteer effort in the Metro Washington, DC, Synod. Each conference of the synod needs a coordinator to reach out to congregations. There is a contact person for the social ministry organizations. Help is needed in publicity, editing the catalog, and other administrative tasks.

Additional volunteer assistance is always needed and welcome.
